Cornerstone Children’s Nutrition Connection requires us to serve age-specific meals that meet program meal pattern requirements, record meal counts within one hour of the end of the meal service, and attend training sessions as required by sponsor. Allergies are taken very seriously and substitutions, which are approved by the food program, are distributed if necessary.

A significant goal of the Child Care Food Program (CCFP) is to safely serve nutritious meals and snacks that meet program meal pattern requirements and are appetizing to children. To help achieve this goal, there are several policies regarding meals that childcare providers must meet when participating in the CCFP.

Childcare providers must ensure that each meal served to children contains, at minimum, each of the food components in the amounts indicated for the appropriate age group as stated in the CCFP Meal Pattern Children.

At Alphabet Learning Center, we promote quality nutrition prepared fresh daily. Preventing childhood obesity through nutrition is our goal.
